Inflammation is now recognized as an overwhelming burden to the healthcare status of our population and the underlying basis of a significant number of diseases.
The elderly generally bear the burden of morbidity and mortality, which may be reflective of elevated markers of inflammation resulting from decades of lifestyle choices. Lower cancer rates are associated with diets high in fiber, fruits, vegetables, and tea. AD and PD may be prevented or treated with aggressive vitamin E, curcumin, acetylcarnitine, and catechin supplementation.
Cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia may be ameliorated by treating the underlying cause: inflammation caused by visceral adipose tissue.
It is no longer appropriate to allow our dietary habits to contribute to the morbidity and mortality of the majority of humans. Although there is much more to understand, we have enough information presently to make the necessary changes in our lifestyles to significantly affect the inflammatory process and potentially live longer, healthier lives, with fewer burdens to an overburdened and failing medical system.
Of course, our Let’s Talk Health members have validated the effectiveness of Relevit – Our best-selling, all natural anti-inflammatory.
Emerging science continues to show the need for reducing the amount of inflammation in our bodies to protect against disease. In fact, those not even dealing with the everyday aches and pains associated with growing older should heed this research as a wake up call and control inflammation before it does any damage.
Relevit contains a concentrated form of Curcumin (nature’s best anti-inflammatory) combined with other clinically tested natural ingredients to give you the best natural anti-inflammatory on the market today.

What is Chronic Inflammation?
While short-lived acute inflammation is crucial to keep us alive, chronic inflammation that persists for a long period can also kill us slowly over time. When low doses of pro-inflammatory substances continued to be released into the body for an extended period, they attack healthy cells, blood vessels and tissues instead of protecting them. These attacks may not always trigger pain and are nowhere to be seen, unlike a bruise or a cut sustained to the skin. Like a slow poison, overzealous inflammatory cells and hormones destroy our body gradually as we continue to live, work and play with a false sense of good health.
It is now widely believed that chronic inflammation that goes undetected for years is the underlying cause of many dreaded illnesses such as type II diabetes, heart disease, stroke, some cancers (e.g. colon cancer), neurological diseases (e.g. Alzheimer’s and dementia), autoimmune diseases (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis), inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g. Crohn’s disease), as well as other diseases which have unknown causes, like allergies, fibromyalgia and migraines.
