Turmeric is the yellow-colored spice found in curry powder. Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, functions as both an anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant, and it may help prevent cancer by interfering with aspects of cellular signaling. In laboratory animals, curcumin has been shown to help prevent cancer of the breast, colon, stomach, liver, and lung. Using curry powder to spice up chicken and egg dishes is an easy way to incorporate it into your diet — and it has the added bonus of adding flavor to your meals, without any calories!




Tea contains compounds called catechins, compounds that scientists theorize may help stop the growth of cancer cells and prevent cellular mutations that contribute to cancer development.

In Japan, where tea is the preferred beverage, green tea consumption has been linked to reduced risk of stomach cancer among women. In China, green tea drinkers were found to have a lower risk of developing rectal and pancreatic cancers compared with non-tea drinkers.

Regular tea drinkers have also been shown to be at reduced risk for colon, breast, ovarian, prostate, and lung cancers. All types of tea — green, black, white, oolong — seem to have value as cancer preventive agents, so regularly drink tea and enjoy a variety of flavors to reap all the benefits!


 It turns out that coffee contains more disease-fighting antioxidants than some fruits and vegetables. These and other anti-inflammatory substances found in coffee could contribute to anti-cancer activity, suggests Harvard research.

Here’s one more reason to feel good rather than guilty about your near-religious java habit: Drinking coffee may lower your risk for melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, suggests new research from the National Cancer Institute.

For 10 years, researchers tracked the coffee-drinking habits and skin cancer rates of nearly 450,000 adults over age 50. After adjusting for factors like UV exposure, age, BMI, physical activity, smoking history, and alcohol intake, they found that coffee drinkers were less likely to be diagnosed with malignant melanoma than coffee skippers.

In fact, those who drank four cups of caffeinated coffee per day had a 20% lower risk of skin cancer. Decaf didn’t offer any significant benefit.

What’s the connection? Previous studies show that the morning mud is loaded with compounds like caffeine and polyphenols that appear to suppress UV-induced tumor growth. The bean roasting process, too, spurs the formation of B vitamins that might offer another layer of protection against tumor formation, researchers say.

I will try to give the very best known causes of this unusual growth and how one may avoid cancer using common, ordinary procedures. Today it has risen to one of the most common diseases and causes of death.

Another known cause of lung cancer is the inhalation of small parts of certain products that have been witty banned now in the United States. These substances give off a microscopic fag when marked and is inhaled by the worker. Eventually, the particles accumulate in the lung causing lung problems and cancer.

Drinking beer, wine alcoholic beverages has no direct effect but heavy drinking may cause one to consume too little good food which is a definite cause of cancer. The consumption of a limited kind of food can stimulate cancer. Another fact is incontrovertible: Eating of processed foods in excess can cause cancer to begin. Research has shown that cancer can occur in individuals who eat primarily processed food as compared to those eating raw and uncooked foods.

The use of high sugar content foods are a definite poor choice in food groups. The popularity of white bread, donuts, croissants, cakes and the wide variety of desserts make eating habits very difficult for the young which leads to poor diet when you are an Adult. If you consider your baby’s need for vitamins, minerals and protein and fat causes the body to constantly seek them and if not readily found, deterioration begins which can lead to cancer.

Dr. Otto Walburg did a very simple but highly revealing research 75 years ago in which be proved that the cells of the human body became cancerous when deprived of oxygen or were unable to use oxygen correctly. He stated, “The cause of cancer is a lack of oxygen on an inability to use oxygen because of a deficiency of certain nutrients. This outstanding research, properly documented was totally ignored by all others and faded away.

It is properly used by a very, very few who have good results with Many nutrients are successful but only rarely so because the correct nutrients are not available to properly utilized the oxygen. They may be very different depending on the eating habits of the individual. But the often overlooked thing is that an individual may not consume the extra oxygen needed to make all things to prevent the slow conversion of a normal cell to a cancer cell. The use of liquid or the more common capsule which can be taken 20 or 30 minutes before a meal, this prevents the oxygen from being used up by reactions in the stomach.

All in all, cancer is a big problem in our society, but it can be controlled by proper attention to smoking and our eating habits.
